Tomorrow Needs You!

November 2021

Hi, I’m Emily! I’m a sister, a daughter, a cat mom, and a mental health advocate! It was apparent to me from a very young age that I wanted to pursue a career in counselling. Through my own mental health struggles, I am able to provide compassionate and empathetic supports from a unique perspective, which allows me the ability to connect with my clients on a much deeper level. I work collaboratively with individuals to regain control of their lives through various evidence-based practices that encourage self-awareness, self-compassion, and self-development. I practice with a holistic approach to mental health care that incorporates integrative healing practices and considers all aspects of an individual's life. My goal is to create a warm, supportive atmosphere where you feel comfortable to process your difficult emotions and gain new skills and insight.

When I’m not practicing therapy, I enjoy being outdoors in nature, planning my next travel adventure, trying out new recipes in the kitchen, cuddling up with a cozy blanket and watching movies, and spending time with family and friends.

Check out what's going on in the youth centre. Arts & Crafts has been a big success with many fun crafts being done every Monday night. That will continue into November. Bro Code is back starting on Tuesday nights and will be offered weekly to young men ages 14-16. We will be introducing 2 new programs Lessons for the Soul and Girls Night In. Empowering and inspiring individuals to break free from the chains of mental illness

We are a foundation invested in working with the youth and young adults in the community to end the stigma of mental health. Noah's House was created to help fill the gap in mental and emotional health support.
